The beef broth was fantastic! I love the visible amounts of collagen in your broths! Also the seasoning in the broths is just perfect (just had my first Lamb broth today, delish!). I was skeptical about the “quiche” because it certainly did not look like the photo, but it was fantastic as well, I actually added feta to mine because I am not dairy free, and it was spectacular. I was also very pleased with the pot sticker meat pint- not being a fan of liver or heart I love that they are in this dish and I can’t taste them yet I know I’m getting my nutrient dense food. Basically I have loved everything I’ve tried so far and that gives me a lot of confidence to order more and try new things.

I ordered the Kuku Kadoo and the lemon panna cotta. They were both amazing! I was really stunned how yummy the Kuku Kadoo was. The texture and flavor both were incredible. I am unfamiliar with the spice sumac and wondered if that was what gave it the lemony flavor. Each bite I could taste a different nuance. The balance of flavors made me very happy. I also loved the lemon dessert. So creamy and satisfying and just the right amount of sweet. A little went a long way and it did feel like it made my belly happy. My daughter and I cracked open one of the jars of lemon cream panna cotta to have “just a taste.”  Yes, that taste turned into many tastes! And, reading your ingredients, it’s actually a perfectly balanced snack: fat, protein, fiber from the coconut. And I loved the texture the dried coconut added. This dessert is a dream to the tastebuds. And, I feel fueled and glowing. Yay for a new food on my list of glow foods!
 
We’ve also been loving the Aji verde sauce. My son put it on his bean stew last night. I topped my sautéed beans and greens with it for breakfast – your sauce took them to the next Level!

Really liked the carrot soup (9), Hungarian sweet and sour soup (8), lemon pannacotta (10), Thai chicken (9), smoky porky beans were a hit with the family (8). Tex mex skillet (6) isn’t my favorite, not bad, but too much garlic for me, so I don’t reach for it. Silky pumpkin (7) is good, but the  vinegar brings a slight off note for me. Don’t get me wrong, the food is amazing. Thanks so much for making real food happen.

Just had the veggie spinich quiche with “mock” feta cheese and it was absolutely AMAZING! I think it’s the favorite dish I’ve had of yours so far. Hope you do that again 🙂

Very much enjoying your soups. Silky Pumpkin remains my favorite! Also liked the squash/apple and continue to appreciate the chicken broth.
FYI, last week I finally ate the Veggie Pierogis. Wow – they were really delicious and would definitely order them again!

Mayan chocolate pudding: amazing texture & flavor- Love the hint of orange peel, cinnamon and other spices. Vegan pirogies- incredible! I love that they’re wheat free but maintain a hearty conventional texture/flavor. The spinach/cheese combo is delicious! I saw the recommendation to dip in ghee, but I will honestly eat these plain!

I shared the Blood Orange Panna Cotta and we both totally enjoyed it. It was light and delicate in flavor with just a hint of sweetness . I would happily reorder it. I also really loved your coconut chicken curry. The flavor was just delicious. Hot and sour mushroom soup was just right! There was a balance between a tasty broth and lots of sliced mushrooms and veggies. I will order the Roots Casserole another time because it was so tasty and the mushroom gravy was so good!

I came home tonight after the longest through-the-night stretch of work with a client to your NOURISHING, UNBELIEVABLY DELICIOUS food just now… and oh my goodness… as if I wasn’t already a believer… I just took my love for Throwback to the next level.  I am overwhelmed by the gift that I just received, to be able to open my fridge exhausted and fill up on this love-infused grub without lifting a finger.  The pho broth, the eggplant goodness is my new favorite dish, and those beans!

Our Throwback desserts are being eaten 2 minutes post delivery. So good I could cry! Pears in cinnamon and activated cashew cream! While I can easily spend a day cooking, I can now spend the day supporting Ballot initiative 112, spending time in nature, or studying and practicing herbalism!! Also, I could never cook (or buy from a restaurant) this level of lovingly made nutrient dense food. I know y’all are giving it your all making this food, and it shows!

The Pho was amazing! My husband liked the tomato soup (I do not eat tomatoes and I’m GF). The Thai Shredded Chicken took getting used to, but tasty. The Dulce Kudzu pudding is divine! WE love your food. We love the delivery personnel.

I love Throwback Kitchen! It is providing me with a base for all of my weekly meals. I get to add-on with bread, eggs, salad, sprouts. Whatever feels right I can bring to the table and I don’t need to say goodbye to cooking. Throwback is inspiring me to try new things and experiment with flavors more in my own kitchen. I am very happy with the service. I trust what is coming to me and I trust the people cooking it. I know it is being done with integrity and truth at its core. I know they care about how food is made and where the food comes from. Those are things that are important to me, but I don’t always have the time to follow through myself.

Great! Convenient and delicious! The love and care that is put into these meals is tangible! Each bite begs to be savored and the food leaves me feeling more satisfied because it’s so nutrient dense. Throwback is organized and convenient and gives me the chance to eat homemade lunches instead of eating something unhealthy at a restaurant. Lasagna was super bomb. I would order that again in a heartbeat. The nut cheese and cassava noodles exceeded expectations. Good amount of saucyness in my opinion. Looking forward to picking up my food today and tasting some more yummy stuff. Loving the variety that you all offer. Good job you all!
